Its becoming Autumn so lets take a hint from nature and turn a new “leaf” this Autumn. As the Trees start shedding lets shed some bad habits and start good ones.
One of the good habits that come with Bullet Journaling is written reminders of your goals.
You can use your Bullet Journal to Log and Track your Goals, but first you need to set up your goals.
It’s tempting to choose goals that your friends and family aspire to achieve. You might think this will be impressive. Sure, they might be impressed. But unless the goal is something you really want, you probably won’t have the drive to make it happen.
Set goals that you really want and need. Write them down and think about it, sleep on it if you must. Come back and choose a few you want to complete.
Here are some ways of setting your goals. I use this 5 step method.
Write it Down
“When you write down your ideas you automatically focus your full attention on them. Few if any of us can write one thought and think another at the same time. Thus a pencil and paper make excellent concentration tools.”
Keep a Positive attitude
Its easy to get discouraged when you fail to meet a goal. Don’t be to hard on your self some goals need more time and experience. Others might be easier to achieve. When you have a bad day read over your goals see how far you have come and try harder tomorrow.
