Natural Lotion {Beauty}

Homemade Natural Lotion.

Chemical Free, made with only 3 ingredients.

Coconut Oil, She Butter and Essential Oil.

I used Equal parts Coconut Oil and Shea Butter with 2ml Essential Oil.

You will need to following.

Shea Butter
Coconut Oil
Essential Oil (Optional)
Glass Jar with Lid for storing
Boiling/Warm Water

Spoon out equal quantities or as desired into your glass jar, add Essential Oil (Optional).

Fill bowl with Boiling/Warm Water.Place Jar in the bowl with water, stir until melted and well mixed.

Run Warm water over the side of the jar to melt contents.

Then leave to cool and harden.

* TIP Do this in shorts and short sleeves to rub excess or spills on your skin.

I got my inspiration from Wellness Mama and Zoe Bee Beauty.

I wanted a Face Lotion with Shea Butter and Coconut Oil. I have Normal to combination skin.

Regular Store Lotions left my skin Moisturized but only for about 12 Hours. When I forget to moisturize my skin felt tight and dry with oil spots.

I now use Castor Oil as Make up remover,  Rose Water as Toner and My Shea & Coconut Butter as Moisturizing Lotion.

Recipe for Castor Oil as Make up Remover Below

Depending on your skin type, you will need to use a different ratio of castor oil to extra-virgin olive oil (or alternate oil). My recommendation is:

Normal Skin: 1:1 ratio of castor oil to extra-virgin olive oil (or alternate oil)
Oily Skin: 3:1 ratio of castor oil to extra-virgin olive oil (or alternate oil)
Dry Skin: 1:3 ratio of castor oil to extra-virgin olive oil (or alternate oil)

Benefits of using these Natural Products are endless Links below

(I use Pure Rose Water from Soil )
