I wanted a Face Lotion with Shea Butter and Coconut Oil. I have Normal to combination skin.

Regular Store Lotions left my skin Moisturized but only for about 12 Hours. When I forget to moisturize my skin felt tight and dry with oil spots.

I now use Castor Oil as Make up remover,  Rose Water as Toner and My Shea & Coconut Butter as Moisturizing Lotion.

Recipe for Castor Oil as Make up Remover Below

Depending on your skin type, you will need to use a different ratio of castor oil to extra-virgin olive oil (or alternate oil). My recommendation is:

Normal Skin: 1:1 ratio of castor oil to extra-virgin olive oil (or alternate oil)
Oily Skin: 3:1 ratio of castor oil to extra-virgin olive oil (or alternate oil)
Dry Skin: 1:3 ratio of castor oil to extra-virgin olive oil (or alternate oil)

Leave colour in for 4 hours or cover up with Cling wrap and a Bandanna and Sleep with it on.
Make sure to cover and tie bandanna securely.

DIY Hair Chalk {Beauty}

DIY Hair Chalk

I used Faber-Castell – Polychromos Pastels. Its like Chalky Pastels.

Before Hair Chalk

Above: Purple and White with Red over.

Above: Purple and Blue Mix.

How To:

Simply wet your hair then apply pastel / chalk directly to your hair. Dry with Blow dryer not combing threw. Using a comb or brush at this stage will remove too much of the product from your hair. When hair is dry comb and flat iron can be used. Apply some hair oil spry or silicone as pastel / chalk creates a matt look.

Your hair will feel chalky at first. This will wash out with shampoo. Depending on the colour of your hair and the amount of product applied, two washes might be required.
