I made this Yummy smoothie recently, it was really Amazing. I was craving a nice smoothie for breakfast, so I went looking for some yummy goodness to combine together with my bananas, as I was out of my usual ingredients. I had some very ripe almost over ripe mango’s in the freezer, from summer, and my frozen berries stock. I combined and it was heaven. 2 Mangos – Frozen (Very Ripe)
1 Banana – Speckled (Very Ripe)
1 Passion Fruit / Granadilla
1/2 Cup Cherries – Frozen
Water as Needed

Cut up Mangos and Bananas
Put all Fruit Ingredients in a blender
Start blending, add water slowly until you have a smooth consistency.

Scoop Out And Enjoy!

Jar Meals {foodie}

Jar Meals is a Quick Easy way to Prep or Pack your Meals.
Prepack your Lunches for the Week or a Meal on the Go.
I love using Jars for my Smoothies and Soups as they are easy to Pour,
or even enjoy straight out of the Jar.

My Earth Juice 1liter of Juice = 1liter of Pulp.
Keep your pulp and use it in Soups and Salads.

Juice – Citrus Immune Booster

3 Oranges, Grapefruit or Pomelo
3 Carrots
Fresh Turmeric
Pinch Cayenne Pepper


Mean Green Protein

1 Pineapple or Mango
2 Ripe Bananas
200ml Water
1 Granadilla
a Handful Green Leaves. Kale, or Spinach
1/2 tsp Cinnamon
1/2 tsp Moringa Powder
1/2 tbsp Maca, Hemp or Seeds
1 tsp Dandelion Powder

Mean Green Protein Smoothie (Blended)

& Banana Berry Smoothie (Blended)

Citrus Immune Booster Juice

&  Salmon Pasta Jar.

For my JAR MEALS I don’t use recipes I try and use whatever is left over from supper or in my pantry.
Always stock your fridge and pantry with healthy goodies and you will make beautiful health creations.

For this JAR MEAL I used the following:


Salmon Pasta Jar

Indian Style Tomato (Tin from Woolworths)
Pink Salmon (Tin)
Cayenne Pepper

Banana Berry Smoothie (to be Blended in the Morning),

Mean Green Protein Smoothie (to be Blended in the Morning)

& Veggie & Caramelized Onion Pasta.

For this JAR MEAL I used the following:


Veggie & Caramelized Onion Pasta

Indian Style Tomato (Tin from Woolworths)
Caramelized Onions

Beet Blood Cleanser, Mango Berry Smoothie

(to be Blended in the morning)

& Veggie Noodle Soup.


Beet Blood Cleanser

1 Small Beetroot
1 Lemon or Lime
1 Red Apple
1/2 Cucumber
1cm Ginger
1 Stalk Celery
2 Carrots
3 Kale or Spinach Leaves
1/2 tsp Maringa Powder
Pinch Cayenne Pepper
Handful Coriander


Mango Berry Smoothie

1 Mango
2 Cups of Berries (Frozen or Fresh)
1 Granadilla
200ml Water

Veggie Noodle Soup

Chinese Noodles
Carrot Pulp
Beetroot Pulp
Purple Cabbage

*NOTE Smoothies and Juices that contain Powders are not compulsory this will just add more substance to your “drink”.

Yummi Bakery Opening {foodie}

I am a Big fan of Yummi Chef and all the Yummi Products. I am so excited to announce they are opening a Patisserie in Canal Walk. Cant wait to enjoy all my favorite Yummi treats.

Potato & Cauliflower Curry {Foodie}

Inspired by Jamie Olivers Potato & Cauliflower Curry Recipe, I made my own version of it with what I had in my Kitchen. His Recipe Below but feel free to explore with your own ingredients keeping the base the same.

I did not add any dairy so my version is #vegan and I pared it with wraps instead.

You can add other veggies and spices etc.

Veggie curries can be found all over India. Feel free to add or substitute other vegetables, such as peas, broccoli and spinach

3 tbsp vegetable oil
2 onions, sliced
4 cloves of garlic, chopped
6cm piece of ginger, peeled and chipped
1 tsp mustard seeds
1 tsp cumin seeds
3 tomatoes, grated
6 curry leaves
1 tsp ground coriander
1 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp ground tumeric
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
1 kg maris piper potatoes, or any other floury potatoes thickly diced
1-2 green chillies, deseeded and sliced
1 large cauliflower, cut into florets just larger than the potato
Greek-style yogurt, to serve
For the Parathas
300 g chapati flour, plus extra for dusting
2 tbsp butter, melted
